ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE OF INDIA (EDII) INVITES APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF WARDEN (BOYS/GIRLS) FOR AHMEDABAD.

Job Title: Warden (Boys)- 01, Warden (Girls) - 01

Location: Ahmedabad

Brief of Job Profile:

A committed and disciplined professional serving as the Warden for the hostels at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) shall be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive residential environment for boys/girls’ students / participants. With a focus on holistic development, the Warden shall ensure adherence to hostel rules, address student concerns, and promote a culture of respect, discipline, and well-being within the campus.

The warden shall work closely with the administration department to foster a positive living-learning atmosphere, and shall play an important role in mentoring boy/girl residents, managing hostel operation, and implementing safety protocols in line with institute guidelines. 

Education Qualification & Experience:

  • Graduation with 5 years of relevant experience. Out of which at least 03 years should be educational institute in similar role.

  • Ex-Service / Ex Paramilitary personnel will be given preference.

  • Working knowledge of computer

  • Should have managed a hostel with an occupancy of at least 100 students/participants.

Key Competencies requirements:

  • Ability to enforce rules and maintain discipline effectively.

  • Understanding of safety and crises management protocols.

  • Good administrative and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to communicate with young people with diverse backgrounds and resolve problems.


    The wardens have to compulsorily stay at the campus. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Hostel operations, room allotment, maintain all records of students from in to out, fees details, room details, gate pass etc.

  • To maintain a ragging-free and friendly environment of the hostel.

  • To maintain discipline and decorum in hostels and mess.

  • To supervise the sports and cultural activities of the residents in the hostel.

  • Responsible for mess activities, operations, and grievances.

Type of Employment: On a Contractual/ Regular Basis.

Remuneration: Between Rs. Seven to Ten Lakh per annum on CTC basis
